Tonight we played at the Wakefield Express and Phillips Hair Salons 'Look of 2007' competition final. The photos on our new intro video were taken there by the Wakefield Express.

In March Mick, Tony, Gareth & Bob are going to play in China !!!!
They’re linking up with Frances Doonan ( former Solicitors alto sax player/Irish dancer & regular Doonan Family Band member ), Phil Murray ( Doonan Family Band member & occasional Solicitors bass player ) & Bryan Ledjard ( drummer with Shagpile & Bad Dog ) to form The Frances Doonan Band, to play some gigs in Beijing !!!!! …….………can’t be bad
They’ll be flying out from Manchester on 13 March to do 2 gigs there (15th & 18th March)…… but don’t worry……........ they’ll be back in time for The Solicitors gig at The Frontier, Batley on Sat 25th March. No doubt they’ll have plenty of tall tales & stories to tell about their debauched adventures out there in the Orient when they get back………... we might even be able to put some of the more printable ones on the website if we’re lucky………..watch this space !!!!!!!

Gareth is back in action at Mustang Sallys tonight after missing a few gigs following an operation to his hand.

Bob won't be singing in the band at all, He's travelling around the world with his wife Liz ( to India, Singapore, Bali, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the USA) Lucky bleeder - have a good time Bob and get us some gigs out there.
The Solicitors will still be working while Bob is away, We're getting a stand in singer for 3 month - WATCH THIS SPACE.
Another interesting gig this time athe Pheonix Club in Wakefield. We played a xmas special for people with learning difficulties - really enjoyed it. Santa came as well but he looked suspiciously like Bob.
Don't forget our special Xmas shows at The Unit, Yeadon on Tuesday 10th Dec and the New Roscoe, Leeds on Thursday 23rd Dec.Get there early or you won't get in!!!!
Children In Need special gig at O'Donahues in Wakefield.
Thanks to Phil Murray of the Doonan Family Band who stood in for Graham on bass at short notice. We had a great night and raised over £1000 for Children In Need.
