The set up revolutionized coyote snaring and it has been fine-tuned with Marty Senneker’s triggered kill spring. You can order the snare with a cam lock or Marty Senneker’s new Shock Lock . These new Shock Locks have been stress tested for toughness in the shop and in my tests the cable broke before the lock failed. This Snare is made with 6 ft of 1/16 1 X 19 excellent quality cable, 1/16 double ferrule, 1/16 snare collar, 1/16 Shock Lock, 385 lb Breakaway Device, Magnum Kill Spring, #2 Trigger, and 2 1/16 single ferrules. Please note, the light break away device is designed to break on deer and it is definitely not recommended for wolves. A setting tool is required to set the trigger; this cannot be done without the setting tool.
