Simpson External Fresh Air System Air system for Drag Racing The F/C External Air System was designed to provide constant flow or on-demand air to the driver in the event of a fire. Composite bottle will hold 5 to 10 minutes of air, depending on flow setting. System includes Flow Control Regulator, ball valve, 8 ft fire rated hose, hose fittings and 3000 PSI rated bottle (114 cubic inches) and shut-off valve assembly. This Air System will allow you to have air from the bottle as your only supply in case of fire or fumes. The system is based on a Carbon-Wrapped Cylinders made of a seamless aluminum liner that is precision-formed, 3000 PSI, 120 Cubic Inches Meets all US regulations for compressed air cylinders.
