This is the second generation Padlock Driver and have been slightly modified to work more effectively in the 10 series American lock. The paddle has been shortened a bit and the round wire is just a hair thicker. The driver is a bit more snug in the key way and even stronger. When using the Driver the paddle/golf head needs to be away from the top pins of the lock. Watch the VideoThe SPARROWS ByPass Driver is made with all steel components that have been polished smooth featuring permanent thermo plastic handles. As with all of the SPARROWS line this is a professional grade tool. You can view the instructions on how to use the Sparrows Padlock ByPass Driver here: Sparrows Padlock ByPass DriverThe Padlock ByPass driver is used with the golf head tip facing down. The special curve in the tip is designed so that the driver will slide though the keyway. The spine of the driver should pass down the center of the keyway.Push the driver all the way to the very back of the keyway and give the driver a clockwise turn. You will have to use the same amount of force you would to turn a key. If this is unsuccessful try to wiggle the driver to get it into position with very small clockwise and counter clockwise turns about 1/8th of a turn. When the Sparrows Padlock ByPass driver is in the correct position a turn in the clockwise direction will open the shackle. What the diver does inside the lock is it goes all the way through the keyway to the inner workings of the lock allowing you to bypass the keyway and open the lock. Most but not all modern locks will have a security disk that now covers the back of the keyway preventing the bypass drive from entering the inner workings of the lock. This disk can get lost when locks are serviced or rekeyed so it is very possible for the Sparrows Padlock Bypass driver to open modern locks.
