Description Black Ikat 100% cotton fabric 1mtr remnant This is a 100% Indian cotton woven ikat fabric. This fabric is black with red, yellow and white design. Ikat is a dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs resist dyeing on the yarns prior to dyeing and weaving the fabric. This fabric was woven and dyed in India. The width of the fabric is 109 cms. The design is approx. 4cms in length. The pattern runs length way along this fabric. 95 gsm. As this fabric is woven there are some pattern and colour variations across the length of the fabric. Every effort has been made to accurately portray the colours used in this fabric, however individual monitor settings and other factors may cause discrepancies. We recommend the you use the following care instructions. It is recommended to wash the fabric before use, particularly dark colours and indigo. These may take more than one wash to get residual dye out. There will be minimal shrinkage due to the printing process.
